Human Crafted to the CO/RE and more organization
Hello again,
In the spirit of writing/posting without waiting until I am “finished”, here’s another Shop Note entry.
What I’ve been working on lately:
- More shop storage projects complete, including shelves for the Milwaukee Packout bins I showed last week, a work-in-progress 3D printing project to store sockets and wrenches, and new acrylic storage.
- Speaking of 3D printing, I welcomed a new Bambu Labs X2D to the family. This 3D printer is enclosed, bigger, and has 2 printing heads for two different materials/colors at the same time (and can be expanded to 4 or even 8 materials/colors).
- I’ve made a few new updates to the Human Crafted wiki on my site which you can reach by clicking on the three-lines icon at the top of the homepage. This wiki is something I am adding to over time, and hope it can be a helpful resource to anyone out there. Many of the pages and notes are really just a resource for me that I wanted documented, but instead of bookmarks in a browser or notes on a drive, I thought it would be more useful to publish them on my site.
- A little aside about the wiki name, co/re… For a while now I have had the .co ending to my url, and thought it was clever to use it as part of my contact page I call co/lab (like the slash is one of the two L’s). Co/re is an extension of that. This wiki is meant to document what I consider the “core” of human crafted, the things that make it the identity it is. Also, the re conveniently is short for “regarding” so you can read it that way too… re: Music, re: Coffee Beans, re: Process, or re: Human Crafted.
- One new entry to co/re I wanted to call out separately is the places map. I had Claude help me research and add all of the Wisconsin Foodie spots from the last 10 seasons as well as all of the Top Chef contestant restaurants. These are both resources I look at when researching new places to visit and want to find good restaurants. Now it’s available to anyone. I will be adding other resources like these to the Places map over time so check back often and let me know what else you’d find helpful to see on this map.
