Notes
Metric, because the hardware it’s drilling for is metric. 6 mm is an odd size to reach for off an inch fractional index card, close to 15/64” but not it. Worth keeping this one clearly marked so it doesn’t end up in the inch drawer by habit.
118° standard point, not split. Unlike T01 and T02, this one won’t self-start on a flat surface. Center punch first, same as any standard-point bit, or it walks before it bites.
Uncoated is the right call here. No TiN, no black oxide: this is McMaster’s plain bright-finish HSS, priced and finished for general aluminum and steel work rather than anything hard enough to need a coating’s extra life.
