Fridge Folders

Fridge Folders are laser-cut from fluorescent acrylic and mounted with magnets, so they hold items against the fridge the same way the folder icon holds files on a screen. Mail, school forms, takeout menus. The stuff that piles up now has a physical pocket.

Making it

The form came directly from the folder icon: a back plate, a front pocket shaped like the classic folder tab, and a slim gap between them for paper to slide into. Magnets pressed into the thickness of the acrylic handle the mounting. Just stick it where you want it. I made these in a few different sizes.

Fluorescent neon colors glow at the edges, throw colored light onto the fridge behind it, and makes ordinary items feel a little less ordinary. Part of a small run of neon fridge accessories, alongside Fridge Frames.
